(Richmond, VA) Oct 11, 2017 – The Richmond Group USA is pleased to announce the successful completion of a search for a Plant Manager for our client’s operation in North Carolina.
Our client is a world leading manufacturer focused on renewable energy production. The North Carolina operation is in its final phases of start-up and striving to achieve full capacity. This requires strong leadership to drive a positive change and team culture as well as implement best practices for utilizing lean manufacturing and TPM to achieve nameplate capacity.
Beginning the search in July 2017, Zach Price and his team worked closely with the Director of Human Resources and Vice President of Operations through the entire process. Working from a position of strength in the marketplace, TRG developed and executed a strong search plan of industrial operations leaders, identifying candidates who have the right technical background and also a strong desire to be in the North Carolina region.
Earlier in the year we had recruited a results driven operations leader and knew he could be a strong candidate. We made the connection with the candidate and the VP who have a shared background in blue chip Automotive. Our candidate brings a proven track record in start-up operations, driving change in to large scale production, engineering, and continuous improvement operations using lean methods. This candidate was eager to reposition his career to North Carolina where he and his wife were in the final phases of building a new home.
